Spotify, the world’s largest online music service, continues to receive new features at the request of users. Finally, widget support for the iOS version of the application has arrived. So how is it used? Here’s how to use Spotify widgets on iPhones…
Spotify widgets for iPhones are now available!
In fact, iPhone users were already able to use Spotify widgets. However, this was one of the default features of the iOS operating system and offered basic usage. So it was insufficient. Today, in line with requests from iPhone users, Spotify took action and finally started to offer widget support.
You can now add the Spotify widget to your iPhone’s lock screen. With this widget, you can change the song with a single tap, and also control the volume. You can also log into the Spotify application by clicking on it.
The new widget has two options, small and large. In the small shaped one, you can see the cover image of the last song or podcast you listened to, its name and the name of the artist. The big one shows the information of the last 5 songs you listened to. On the other hand, by clicking on the widget in both dimensions, you can directly access the detail page of the music or podcast from within the application.
