Many new features have been added to these products, with smart phones and smart watches taking an important place in our lives. Credit cards, membership cards and even ID cards in some countries can be stored on these smart devices. In line with this, digital car keys have also started to gain popularity in recent years. These technologies, which also allow temporary sharing of car keys, will now allow cross-platform car key sharing with Google’s new update.

Currently only available on Pixel devices

Offering new features to Pixel devices at regular intervals, Google is now making it easier to share car keys. Pixel devices will now be able to exchange car keys with iPhone devices running iOS 16.1 and higher. These keys will be accessible from the Google Wallet app.

Although the feature is only available on Pixel devices for now, the company wants to release this feature for Android 12 and higher devices soon.
