Apple announced the new App Privacy Report feature at WWDC 2021. While this feature draws attention as it shows what permissions are given to the applications, what information the users access while the applications are running, and which websites they communicate with from external sources, this feature is now available on iPhones and iPads.
Announcing that the Application Privacy Report feature is available on iPhones and iPads with the iOS 15.2 beta version, Apple will thus provide transparency to users in terms of security over the applications they use.
The job doesn’t stop there. On the other hand, if users think that there is a potential danger in the applications they use, it also allows them to report the application to Apple for review by tapping the Record Application Activity button.
To enable the new feature, you can go to Settings > Privacy > App Privacy Report > Turn on App Privacy Report.
While the App Privacy Report feature is currently only available in iOS 15.2 beta and iPadOS 15.2 beta, it will be included in the final release of iOS 15.2, which will be available in just a few weeks.
