Tesla, one of the world’s most popular electric car manufacturers, has released a new software update for the iOS application used by its customers. The update, which is currently being distributed for Tesla customers around the world, is preparing to offer Tesla owners an impressive experience. Tesla owners will be able to control their cars via Siri with this update.
Apple released a feature called Shortcuts with iOS 13. This feature allowed users to create shortcuts for certain actions or give commands via Siri. Shortcuts and Siri integration were added to the mobile application with Tesla’s work. Thus, Tesla owners were able to control their cars with voice or one touch via their smartphones.
So, what will Tesla owners be able to do from iPhones now?
A screenshot presented with the update of the Tesla application reveals the new features that will be offered to Tesla owners with the work done. According to this; Tesla owners will now be able to manage features such as locking and unlocking their cars, managing the air conditioning system and sentry mode via iOS’s Shortcuts or Siri service. Users will also be able to create their own shortcuts through the application.
In fact, Tesla car users were able to manage some features of their cars through third-party applications. However, they are no longer needed. Users will be able to do whatever they want through the official Tesla app.
