Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) analyst Ross Young has revised his expectations for the fourth-generation iPhone SE. Providing reliable information about Apple’s plans, Young says the smartphone will come with a 6.1-inch LCD screen and a notched design.At the moment, it is not clear whether the iPhone SE 4 will have Face ID. However, instead, there are rumors that Touch ID technology will be included as in previous models to keep the cost low. The design of the device will most likely be similar to the iPhone XR.
Touch ID is integrated into the power button
With Apple’s transition to a full-screen design, there will be no room for the Home button with the Touch ID sensor built into the bottom frame of the device. Multiple sources say the company plans to place the Touch ID sensor on the power key on the next-generation iPhone SE, just like on the iPad Air and iPad mini.
