Apple will introduce the new iPhone SE 4 model with its special event today. Before the event, protective cases, which give important clues about the design of the device, were displayed in online stores. These leaks confirm the previously shared images.
In terms of design, the iPhone SE 4 has a similar rear appearance with its predecessor, but offers radical changes in the front panel. Apple, which has been the symbol of the SE series for years, says goodbye to a notched screen design by saying goodbye to the main screen key. This notch, which contains face ID technology, brings a face recognition system instead of the fingerprint reader.
Another remarkable detail of the new model is that there is no Magsafe support. The absence of magnetic alignment rings in protective cases strengthens the claims that the device will not be compatible with Magsafe. On the camera side, a major change is not expected; A rear camera module similar to the SE 3 model will appear.
When we look at the hardware features, significant improvements stand out. The resolution of the rear camera is expected to be increased from 12 MP to 48 MP and offer more detail and advanced photo processing capabilities. The front camera is increased from 7 MP to 12 MP and provides better quality selfie shootings.
One of the biggest changes on the screen is taking place. In the previous model, a 4.7 -inch LCD screen is replaced by a 6.1 -inch OLED panel. This screen offers a great improvement in terms of color accuracy, contrast and brightness. Thanks to its 800 nit brightness level, it provides a better visibility in sunlight, while HDR content can reach a maximum brightness of 1200 Nits.
For now, all of this information is not officially verified. With Apple’s event, all the details will be certain.
