The WhatsApp application for Android may soon get a new design. After years of users requesting a new interface, the app is now working on a revamped bottom navigation bar very similar to the one available on the iPhone.
This information came from WABetaInfo, which says WhatsApp is working to bring a new UI for the app in a future update. Android users cannot test the new skin at the moment, but it is a fact that WhatsApp is working on this change.

With the revamped design, WhatsApp for Android will look more modern and intuitive when navigating the app, so users can access chats, communities, statuses and calls with a single tap.
Besides that, WhatsApp recently announced new features for admins and community members.
New Control for Admins: WhatsApp has developed a simple tool that allows admins to decide who can join a group. When an admin chooses to share their group’s invite link or make their group joinable in a community, they now have more control over who can join.
Easily See Public Groups: With more Communities created, WhatsApp wants to make it easier for people to understand that they have a partner group with someone else. Whether users are trying to remember the name of a group they shared with someone or see groups that 2 people have in common, they can now easily search for a person’s name to see shared groups.
