Vision Pro integration of iPhone 15 series will be better
According to renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the Cupertino-based giant is working to better integrate future iPhone models with Vision Pro glasses. To achieve this, the company will apparently bring hardware upgrades to its future iPhones. This move isn’t surprising given that Apple seamlessly connects a variety of products across multiple platforms, from iPhones to iPads to MacBooks and more.
Kuo stated that Apple may bring Wi-Fi 7 and UWB (Ultra Wideband) technology to its upcoming iPhone models. Thus, they will work better with the new Vision Pro head. In other words, the iPhone 15 will likely come with an upgraded UWB chip to offer a solid and seamless connection with the latest product in the Apple ecosystem. In this case, we can say that we will see a new generation U1 chip. For those who don’t remember, we first saw the UWB chipset in the iPhone 11 series.
The new and improved chip could even help bring upgrades to various existing features like AirDrop, Find My and more. Apart from that, Kuo also claims that the iPhone 16 will be the company’s first smartphone to feature Wi-Fi 7. Wi-Fi 7 comes with significant benefits such as higher speed and lower latency.
