iPhone 15 prices will be high
According to information from a research report, the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to be $100 more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to be $100 to $200 more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Pricing for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models is likely to remain the same or similar, according to the analyst. According to the transfer, the prices of the iPhone 15 series may be as follows:
iPhone 15 | 799 dollars | iPhone 14 | 799 dollars |
iPhone 15 Plus: | $899 | iPhone 14 Plus | $899 |
iPhone 15 Pro | $1,099 | iPhone 14 Pro | 999 dollars |
iPhone 15 Pro Max | $1,299 | iPhone 14 Pro Max | $1,099 |
Rumors have it that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature an advanced telephoto lens with periscope technology that allows zooming up to 5-6x without blur compared to the 3x on the iPhone 14 Pro models. This feature isn’t expected to roll out on the smaller iPhone 15 Pro this year, which could contribute to the Pro Max seeing a larger price hike. Long believes the periscope lens will add about $50 to the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s material price.
Despite reports of a temporary production issue with the display on Pro models, Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 15 series in September. Other features rumored for the Pro models include a USB-C port, titanium bezel, customizable Action button, faster A17 Bionic chip, thinner bezels, Wi-Fi 6E support and increased RAM. If Apple does indeed raise prices, it will be the first price increase for high-end iPhone models since the iPhone X ($999) and iPhone XS Max ($1099). On the other hand, price estimates for iPhones should always be approached with suspicion. We’ve seen that most price predictions don’t hold true in the past.
