The iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to come with a wide variety of special features and changes. For example, recently devices will have a titanium case for better durability, touch solid state buttons and a completely buttonless design are some of them. On the other hand, now there is information about the A17 Bionic chip in Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro series.
The A17 Bionic will be based on TSMC’s 3nm fabrication architecture. For those of you who don’t remember, the A16 Bionic chip was produced in the 5nm process. It is known that there are great improvements in performance and energy efficiency as the number of nanometers decreases. Therefore, the A17 Bionic will come with significant gains in performance. Performance aside, Apple is also working hard on additional power-efficient chips. For example, Apple is also focusing on custom 5G modems based on the 4 nm process.Other than that, these gains will not be experienced in the standard iPhone 15 models, as we expect Apple to put the previous generation’s chip in the base models, as it did in the current series.
