Technology giant Apple introduced its new phones, the iPhone 14 family, to us last September. Immediately after this introduction, information about the iPhone 15, which is expected to be released next year, began to emerge. In previous leaks, it was stated that Pro Max models could be called ‘Ultra’. It has also been claimed that the Dynamic Island feature may be standard on the iPhone 15s.
Now, the information revealed by Taiwanese research firm TrendForce has revealed what we can encounter in the iPhone 15 Pro models. Uncertain claims included prominent features.
iPhone 15 Pro models may come with 8 GB of RAM and USB-C input
According to TrendForce, the iPhone 15 family will come with a total of four models, two of which are Pro (the Pro Max is likely to come as ‘Ultra’), and only the Pro models will have Apple’s latest processor, as in the iPhone 14 series. Accordingly, the Pro models of the iPhone 15 may be equipped with the A17 Bionic, while other models may have the A16.
In addition, it was stated in the claims that the iPhone 15 Pro will come with 8 GB of RAM, as opposed to 6 GB in the 14s. It was reported that the other 15 models may continue to have 6 GB of RAM. In addition, it was claimed that there will be a transition from Lightning to USB-C in the new iPhone series. As it is known, the European Parliament has recently made USB Type C input mandatory for electronic products.
In addition, the information about the phone showed that the new Pro Max model, which may come as Ultra, may have a Telephoto lens that allows 10x or higher optical zoom compared to existing phones. This has also been mentioned in previous leaks. It was also reported that Apple will continue to use the Qualcomm model for 5G on the iPhone 15, and plans to release its own modem in 2024.
This is the estimate for the iPhone 15 Pro models for now. Apple is expected to introduce its new phones in September 2023.
