iPhone 15 Pro Max was completely sold out less than an hour after pre-orders started, and a waiting period of 2-3 weeks began for most colors and options.
On the other hand, if you didn’t get it during the pre-sale, you’ll have to try your luck next Friday, when general sales will start, or wait at least until October to get your hands on this device.
The only option available 5-7 days from now is the 512GB Blue Titanium iPhone 15 Pro Max, at least on the US Apple Store site. Interestingly, you can still get an iPhone 15 Pro in all colors and storage capacities for September 22nd.
It is much easier to obtain one of the iPhone 15 standard options, as almost all models are available for pre-order and will be available for delivery on September 22. It’s interesting that Apple is focusing its sales on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, even though standard iPhone models generally perform better throughout the iPhone cycle.
Despite a supply chain issue with last year’s generation and riots at the largest iPhone factory in China, both Pro versions sold out as they offer the same features.
However, although Apple may be able to generate more revenue from the Pro Max models, the company may be hurting another important version, the smaller Pro model.
