Apple introduced the new iPhone 14 series last week. One of the innovations that comes with the iPhone 14 Pro models is called Dynamic Island. This area next to the selfie camera is used to display detailed information.

We haven’t seen a feature like this on any Android phone yet. However, since Android is a platform open to third-party software developers, it didn’t take long for Dynamic Island to be added to Android phones.

This feature, ported from iPhone to Android, came from the theme makers for Xiaomi MIUI. It is now available for download. In the Twitter post above, you can watch how this feature works under Android.

We anticipate that this move will be followed by other developers and many add-ons that offer Dynamic Island feature will be produced. However, it is not known whether this feature will be used internally in new versions of companies that produce their own Android interfaces such as Samsung and Huawei.
