According to China’s declaration, Taiwan belongs to the territory of China. So it cannot be launched as a separate place. Of course, Taiwan does not accept this either. In this case, Apple was stuck in the middle by pitting China and Taiwan against each other.
As a result, the release date of the iPhone 14s may be delayed before it is released.
The People’s Republic of China is Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp., whose chips are ordered by many US technology giants. (TSMC) company does not accept the ‘Made in Taiwan’ label on products manufactured. Instead, China wants the label on the products to be ‘Made in Taiwan, China’ or ‘Chinese Taipai’.
Apple has warned its Taiwan-based suppliers. The reason is that China has stopped shipments of materials sent by suppliers in Taiwan to the Pegatron factory in Suzhou China, which manufactures some products for US companies such as Microsoft and Apple.
These shipments are held by customs in the People’s Republic of China, and if the aforementioned ‘Made in Taiwan’ statement is present, the shipment will be cancelled. If the label is what China wants, delivery is allowed.
