Apple introduced the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models in the past few weeks. The Dynamic Island feature, which is the new notch design offered by the company only in Pro models, was one of the most striking details. This feature, which has no equivalent on Android phones, is now with us under the name dynamicSpot.
How to use Dynamic Island on Android?
The dynamicSpot application published on the Google Play Store, of course, does not bring every detail of Apple’s solution, called Dynamic Island or Dynamic Island, to Android phones, but it does not hesitate to offer different features. The Pro version of the application, which is still in Beta, promises more advanced capabilities. The features offered in the paid version of the application can also be run on the lock screen.
The developed application can access music controls. It also offers customizable interaction, timer support, and general multitasking. Developer Jawomo states that the application will be developed with many more features in the coming periods, and at the same time, the general usability will be increased.
iPhone 14’s crash detection feature tested in real crash
We do not know whether Apple will proceed with a legal path regarding the copycat Android application, but we can state that such applications will follow. However, themes similar to the Dynamic Island feature on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max have begun to be found in Xiaomi’s MIUI themes. Likewise, many manufacturers also carry out R&D activities on a similar design.
