Globalstar first started supporting emergency satellite communications in the USA and Canada as of today. Users will be able to use this service free of charge for the first 2 years. After that, you have to pay the subscription fee.
In December, it was announced that the emergency satellite link will be made available in the UK, Germany, France, Ireland and France. There is no exact date, but now it seems that the second continent has been added to the list. More European countries will likely be included in the list in 2023.
