US-based technology giant Apple’s 2021 flagship phones appeared in DxOMark, known as the world’s most popular camera test platform. However, despite this, the iPhone 13 family could not be at the top of the DxOMark lists.

Tests by DxOMark reveal that the iPhone 12 Pro Max, released last year, and the iPhone 13 mini have the same performance. In this context; both models have generally managed to score 130 points in the category. The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are ranked fourth on the DxOMark list, scoring 137 points.

Sony’s sensors are used in all cameras of the iPhone 13 Pro

Apple does not talk much about the technical details of the products it announced at its launch events. Especially when it comes to the camera, we can’t even find out first hand which sensors the company is using. However, some information from China, we see that Apple prefers Sony, especially in the iPhone 13 Pro. So much so that the company prefers Sony for the front camera, main rear camera, ultra wide-angle camera and telephoto camera and ToF sensor. Supporting the iPhone 13 family with Sony IMX 7 series sensors, the company offers performance that will satisfy consumers, although it is not the best according to DxOMark.
