Switching to OLED panels since the iPhone X series, Apple is preparing to take a similar step in the new iPad Pro model, which is expected to be introduced in 2024. Recent leaks have shown us that the new tablet will come in two sizes, 11.1 inches and 13 inches. The Elec, now known for its proximity to the industry, shared information that would not please users for the new iPad Pro.

It is said that Apple has started talks with Apple and LG Display for iPad Pro models with OLED screens. The Elec, on the other hand, reported that highly exciting models will be more expensive than expected. This is because Apple will focus on more advanced manufacturing technologies compared to standard OLED panels.

At this point, the new OLED panel will reportedly contain two layers of separation compared to the single layer used in iPhones, in addition to a thinner structure. Theoretically, this change will increase screen brightness by at least two times and panel life by four times. According to The Elec’s report, these innovations may cause the final cost, or at least a part of it, to be passed on to the consumer.

What is known about the next generation iPad Pro is limited to these for now. So what do you think about this? Do not forget to share your views with us in the comments section.
