Changes to iPad Air and iPad Pro screens
According to reports, Apple will add a 12.9-inch model to the 10.9-inch model of the iPad Air. Thus, it is reported that the Air family will be even closer to the 11 and 12.9 inch options of the iPad Pro. Gurman didn’t give a specific date, saying only that the devices would arrive in “early 2024,” adding that Apple hopes to turn things around on sales of both product lines. On the iPad Pro side, it is stated that OLED screens will be the future.
In his previous statements, Gurman said that the new iPad Pro, which will be released in 2024, will include the biggest design change since 2018. The company recently revised its tablets with a straight-edged design. This year, the company launched the iPhone 15 series of phones, which were slightly redesigned to feature more rounded edges. Pro models had titanium edges and thinner bezels. It seems likely that the new iPads will get at least some of the same design features. Meanwhile, the company’s first AR/VR headset, Vision Pro, will also be released in early 2024. All of these can be introduced at the same event.
