Long-spoken regulations in the crypto industry have come into intense focus globally. Many countries are working towards clearer regulations in the coming years.
On the other hand, IOSCO will hold a meeting for the regulatory report on crypto assets in the second quarter of 2023. The organization’s recommendations on regulations are intended to be published by the end of 2023.
IOSCO Focused on Crypto Regulations
The International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) plans to publish its guiding recommendations on crypto regulations by the end of 2023.
According to this IOSCO plan created, IOSCO will focus on investor protection in both areas of the digital market. Making a statement on the subject, the organization said;
IOSCO previously produced a report in 2022 on topics such as DeFi, stablecoins and influencers. The organization, which advises national regulators, specifically pointed to consumer protection for misleading and illegal promotions.
