As you know, Apple offers a feature in the iOS operating system that allows battery health to be monitored. In this way, iPhone users can take a look at the wear status of the battery on their device. Search giant Google is preparing to integrate a similar feature into its Android operating system.

A section called “Battery Health” was discovered in the Android 13 QPR1 public beta. The new menu includes an overview of the battery’s wear status, as well as recommendations on what it can do and information on actual battery capacity.

Android 13 will give a warning if there is any problem with the battery. In this way, users will be able to check the status of the battery and find out if it needs to be replaced. However, there is currently some uncertainty regarding this feature.
The Battery Health menu was spotted on a Google Pixel branded smartphone. Therefore, it is not known whether it will be offered on all Android devices or only on Google Pixel models. We will have to wait a little longer to have information on this subject.
