According to a new report, Apple’s brand new operating system, which has been in closed beta for a while, will enter the public beta process this week. The development comes from Bloomberg writer Mark Gurman, who is now identified with Apple news.
iOS 16 open beta is out this week
According to Mark Gurman, the open beta of iOS 16 will coincide with the third developer beta of iOS 16. The exact release date of the open beta is currently unknown. Last year, the open beta version of iOS 15 was released on Wednesday. So we can expect a similar date.
To access the iOS 16 open beta, you must sign up for the free Apple Beta Software Program on an iPhone. The iOS 16 beta will come to your device as installable in Settings > Software Update target when it is released. Public beta testers can provide feedback to Apple using the Feedback Assistant app.
Of course, as always, iOS versions can be very unstable when they are first released.
