READING NOW iOS 16.1 Beta 2 has been released! Design and performance improvements on the way

With the iOS 16 update released in the past weeks, iPhones gained many new features. However, like every new version, iOS 16 came with some bugs and shortcomings. Fortunately, being aware of these problems, Apple started working and released the new beta of 16.1. So what has changed with that version? Here are the details…

What has changed with iOS 16.1 Beta 2?

While the new features that came with the released iOS 16 update attracted great attention, Apple released the second beta update for 16.1. While performance improvements and problem fixes entered our lives with this version, the biggest cosmetic change that stood out was the design change in the battery indicator. At the same time, the lock screen started to show the battery percentage during recharging.

In addition, the battery indicator has been made even more colorful and understandable. When you enable the charging percentage feature, you will now see a different icon while charging the phone and you will be able to understand that your phone is charging.

In addition to these, finally, when the screen is turned on, the battery indicator will be visible for a short time on the lock screen, where the date is located directly above the clock. The battery level, which will disappear after a few seconds, may not be permanent. Changes to this design are expected in the near future.

The battery indicator is currently only available in the iOS 16.1 beta testing version. There is also a public beta available for non-developers to test, but the battery feature has not been added yet. The public beta version, which is expected to be released in the coming days, will come with the battery status feature.

Show iPhone battery percentage (iOS 16)

If you have iOS 16 installed, all you have to do is go to Settings > Battery and activate the Battery Percentage option. Now inside the battery icon at the top right of the screen, you will also see the battery percentage.

iOS 16 innovations

Many innovations were brought with iOS 16. The most striking of these innovations was the more customizable lock screen. You can select an object from a picture on your lock screen and place it on the clock to create a more beautiful image. Additionally, it’s worth noting that you can now select multiple lock screens.

In addition, you can enrich your lock screen with applications that support widgets. Apart from the lock screen, one of the highly anticipated features has also been introduced. Now with iOS 16, you can edit or delete the messages you send before it’s too long.

So, what do you guys think about this issue? Do you think the battery indicator feature that comes with iOS 16 meets expectations? Do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
