Apple has released the public version of iOS 15.1 where it has released the Release Candidate for beta users following the Unleashed event. The expected feature for FaceTime is also available.
What’s new in iOS 15. 1
Announced in June, iOS 15 drew attention with various innovations. While the regulations made to FaceTime were aimed at purifying the system from third-party software, we encountered many changes within the system. Apple, which wanted to rival FaceTime with applications such as Zoom and Google Meet, which became popular after the pandemic, paved the way for song, video and screen mirroring to the screen during the call.
So what are all the features of the update?
- SharePlay; TV app is a new way to share experiences simultaneously on FaceTime with content from Music and other supported App Store apps
- Shared controls allow anyone to pause, play, rewind or fast forward
- Smart volume automatically mutes the movie, TV show or track when your friends are talking
- Apple TV supports option to watch shared video on your big screen while on FaceTime call on iPhone

- Mandarin Chinese (Taiwan) support for translation in translation app and whole system
