Altcoin investors want Robinhood to list FLOKI
The Floki Inu team is following the path paved by the Shiba Inu community by creating such a petition. As we have reported as Kriptokoin.com, the petition of Shiba Inu investors went viral last year. After that, it was a huge success, collecting more than half a million signatures. After months of hints, Robinhood finally added support for the Shiba Inu token in early April. SHIB, the second largest meme coin; Listed with Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC), and Compound (COMP).
Time will tell if the Floki Inu campaign can gain enough momentum for Robinhood to consider such a listing. While Shiba Inu enjoys widespread mainstream coverage, FLOKI remains a relatively unknown branch of Dogecoin despite aggressive promotional campaigns. According to data provided by CoinGecko, it currently ranks 361 by market cap. In March, Floki Inu clashed with the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) after an aggressive promotional campaign for different types of public transport in London that made fun of it last year.
The ASA has banned ads promoting the FLOKI cryptocurrency after receiving a series of complaints. Therefore, although the leading stock trading practice has become significantly more open to listing new tokens; The odds of Floki Inu somehow succeeding are thought to be slim. As reported by Kriptokoin.com, it has added support for the popular trading app Chainlink (LINK).
