Investigation of 7 software companies from the Competition Authority

The Competition Authority launched an investigation against 7 companies operating in the software industry, alleging anti-competitive practices. The companies under investigation provide software services to corporate customers and public institutions.

Companies for which investigation has been initiated:

• Etiya Information Technologies Software Industry and Trade Inc.
• Pia Bilişim Hizmetleri A.Ş.
• İnnova Bilişim Çözümleri A.Ş.
• NETAS Telekomünikasyon AŞ
• MAGİS Teknoloji AŞ
• Kafein Yazılım Hizmetleri Tic. AŞ
• RDC Partner Bilişim Danışmanlık ve Teknoloji Hizmetleri AŞ

According to the announcement made on the Competition Authority’s website, about these 7 companies, the 4th article of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition, “Agreement Limiting Competition, Harmonious Action” It was decided to open an investigation as a result of the preliminary investigation carried out on the allegations of violating the Article “and Decisions”. The results of the investigation will be announced in the coming months. Administrative fines will be applied to companies found to be in violation.
