Atlanta-based investment management firm Invesco has announced the Metaverse Fund, a fund for metaverse growth.

Investments in the metaverse, which is seen as the shaper of the virtual world and the future, are increasing. Launched an Invesco mutual fund for the metaverse, which brings together many different and interrelated sectors.

Invesco Metaverse Fund Will Operate on a Large Scale

The company, which started a fund for the development of the Metaverse world, aims to invest in small, medium and large-sized companies with the Metaverse Fund. When the portfolio of the company is examined, established companies in the USA, Asia, Japan and Europe come to the fore.

The Metaverse fund will be jointly managed by Fund Manager Tony Roberts and Deputy Fund Manager James McDermottroe, both of whom are part of Invesco’s UK-based Asia and Emerging Markets Equities team.

Invesco Fund Manager Tony Roberts said the following about the investment issue, according to the IFA Magazine report:

“It is estimated that by 2030, virtual and augmented reality could provide a £1.4 trillion boost to the global economy. As the entertainment applications of the Metaverse are increasingly understood, the interconnection it provides will likely have a transformative impact in industries as diverse as healthcare, logistics, education and sports. We will try to take advantage of these opportunities with a highly selective, valuation-conscious approach.”
