The launch date of the Redmi K70 series has been announced
Recently, Xiaomi announced in a post on its official Weibo account that the Redmi K70 series will be introduced in China on November 29 at 19:00 local time. In this context, the three models in the series are expected to be on the shelves as of December. It is still unclear whether it will reach the global market. Niketim Redmi K40, K50 and K60 series were also mostly rebranded by POCO.
What will Redmi K70, K70 Pro and K70e offer?
As we mentioned above, Xiaomi will come up with three new models: Redmi, K70, K70 Pro and K70e. Among these, Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will be supported by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 respectively, while K70E will be supported by Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset. We will also encounter 5,000mAh 120W charging in the basic model, that is, Redmi K70, 5,120mAh 120W charging in the Pro version, and a 90W 5,5000mAh battery pack in the K70e.
The smartphones are expected to be one of the first models with the HyperOS interface supported by Android 14. In the camera department, Xiaomi will focus on a triple sensor setup. Current reports say that the Redmi K70 series will stand out with its design and screen quality. The information leaked so far is that the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will have a flat AMOLED screen with narrow bezels offering 2K resolution.
