Here are the Xiaomi 13 Ultra design and features
Xiaomi 13 Ultra will come in green and white color options. The back panel of the phone has a leather-like finish, similar to what we saw on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The back panel area, located below the phone’s camera module area, is slightly higher than the lower part of the body. This is because, as you can imagine, the sensors are getting bigger.
There is a quad camera setup on the back. At the center of the huge circular camera module is the Leica brand. Xiaomi also announced that the phone has IP68 certification, which means water and dust resistance. In addition, the company claims that the metal frame is 4.4 times more resistant to bending.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra supports variable aperture. It will be the world’s first smartphone to offer a 1-inch camera sensor with variable aperture. The aperture of the 13 Ultra’s main camera can be adjusted to f/1.9 and f/4.0 according to the user’s preference. Three Sony IMX858 sensors are also confirmed to be used. All quad camera sensors will have a resolution of 50MP.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have a 6.7-inch, curved AMOLED display with 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone’s 5000 mAh battery supports 90w fast charging, 50w wireless charging. The phone, which carries Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, comes with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. On the software side, the phone will come with MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
