WhatsApp, the world’s most popular messaging platform, has increased the number of new features in recent days. Unlike its competitors, especially Telegram, which offers various features to its users, WhatsApp draws attention with its plain design and simple interface, but now this situation seems to change. So much so that WhatsApp will use different designs for the message menu.

WhatsApp message menu is changing for Android users!

As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is currently working on a new design for the message menu on Android devices. In the current version of WhatsApp, emojis that can be reacted to when a message is held down are listed, while the design tested in the Beta version includes actions such as deleting and forwarding, as well as emojis.

Prior to this design, these actions were located in the top bar. Now the top part will not be used for the message menu. Now the “Info, Starring, Reply, Forward and Delete” buttons will be directly below the message when you hold down the message.

With this feature, it is noteworthy that the Android version of WhatsApp is similar to the one on IOS. The company may want to standardize the application by switching to a similar design in both operating systems. Again, if the Beta version is approved, this design will be for Android devices.

If you are officially registered in the beta program of WhatsApp, you can get the update from the Play Store. For those who are not officially registered in the beta program, it is unclear when the feature will officially arrive.

WhatsApp, which has tested many features in the Beta version recently, is also testing the message editing feature in the Beta version. The feature, which is planned to be opened to all users in a week or two, shows that the application is in a hurry to change the design and catch up with its competitors in many areas.
