A device replicating the design of last year’s Nothing Phone (1) was showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The smartphone named Luna, unveiled by Unihertz company, goes beyond inspiration with its transparent back panel and LED lighting strips.

What is even more interesting is that the clone model was spotted at the fair by Nothing’s founder Carl Pei. The experienced executive shared a photo of himself holding his Nothing Phone (1) smartphone in his left hand, and the replica Unihertz Luna he came across at the fair in his right hand.

Couldn’t copy specs

The Unihertz Luna bears no other resemblance to the Nothing Phone (1) except for the design. The smartphone features a 6.81-inch screen, MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 5,000mAh battery, 18W charging, triple camera with 108 megapixel main sensor and headphone jack.

Unfortunately, the company did not share details regarding the exact release date of the smartphone at MWC 2023. A Unihertz spokesperson said the Luna will launch in March and will not exceed $300. On the other hand, let us remind you that Nothing Phone (1) debuted with a starting price of 469 euros.
