Interesting contact in the middle of color blindness and food preferences: Here is the work and results

Recent research reveals the state of color -blind people to choose to eat.

Since men are 16 times more color blind than women, our subject comes to the choice of color -blind men.

Color blindness stems from differences in perceiving people’s colors.

This changes the perceptions based on the colors of food. In particular, the color of foods greatly affects our appetite and our interest in food. Red and orange tones increase our appetite while blue and black colors can suppress appetite.

Based on this, it is suggested that color -blind individuals may exhibit different behaviors about food preferences.

How does the dimension of disgust from food change?

Color -blind men – especially the reason we said the reason for saying men at the beginning – food neophobia, the fear of food and food disgust levels are lower than men without color blind.

This means that; Color -blind men are more open to new tastes and food. In addition, with the progression of age, food neophobia and disgust increases in color -blind men, while this situation remains constant in men who do not have color blind.

There is a need for more research on the effects of color blindness on food selectivity, but the current findings show that color perception has a valuable effect on food preferences and emotional reactions.
