Intel Core i5-13490F specifications
For those who don’t know, the Alder Lake-based Core i5-12490F appeared as a special processor targeting only the Chinese market with its increased cache capacity. According to the information received from the CPU-Z platform, the Core i5-13490F will have 10 cores and 16 threads, 6 performance and 4 efficiency, which we can say similar to a sub-model i5-13400.
On the other hand, the two processors differ from each other in clock speed and L3 cache size. Accordingly, the i5-13490F will be equipped with a 200 MHz higher clock speed of 4.7GHz and 24MB of L3 cache.
As for performance, the i5-13490F tested on the CPU-Z platform scores 779.7 in single thread and 6834.5 in multi-threaded tests. We can roughly say that these scores indicate 6 percent and 4.5 percent higher performance than the Core i5-13400F. The i5-13490F is not yet listed by Intel on its official website and is not involved in the promotion of the non-K series. Therefore, it is currently unknown whether the processor will be exclusive to the Chinese market.
