Appears in AMD’s presentation
Interestingly, the exciting update to the Meteor Lake onboard GPU came from a benchmark presentation from AMD, not Intel. The Meteor Lake chip seems to come with 128 EU, but some sources also think that it will come with 64 EU in lower performance. On the other hand, AMD plans to conveniently integrate its own 128 EU chip into the Ryzen 7000 Phoenix APU. This action may result in a better performance chart than AMD had hoped.
Seen as a competitor to GeForce GTX 1650
Intel Meteor Lake may have a powerful enough internal GPU to rival the GeForce GTX 1650, but its ultimate performance seems to be somewhere between the GeForce GTX 1650 and the MSI RTX 3050. If the new Intel-based computers can come close to the battery life performance of the M2 Macbook Pro, many think it will be a victory for Intel Meteor Lake in every sense.
Intel Meteor Lake chips are expected to be released towards the end of the year and will only be integrated into laptops for now.
