The release date of Intel’s new Arc A series desktop graphics cards is still unknown, but the company is revealing all the features of its upcoming cards. Designed for gamers and professionals, the cards come in four models: Arc A380, Arc A580, Arc A750 and Arc A770.
Intel Arc A series technical specifications detailed
Arc A380 graphics card, which is the entry-level model, comes with 6 GB of GDDR6 memory and runs at 2000MHz clock frequency. With 8 Xe cores in the ACM-G11 GPU, the card looks very similar to the GTX 1660 Super on paper.
AMD FSR 2.1 released: Here are the specs
In the middle level, we see the Arc A580 model. Offering 24 Xe cores, 8GB of GDDR6 memory and 1700MHz memory clock speeds, the card uses a cropped version of the ACM G10 GPU. Again, it is stated that this model is close to the RTX 3070 on paper.
Intel also offers mid-high and high-end cards, the Arc A750 and Arc A770. Arc A750 has 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, 28 Xe cores and 2050MHz clock speeds. It is reported that this card is close to Radeon RX 6600XT on paper. The Arc A770, which is in the top model of the series, uses the full version of the ACM 10 GPU. Therefore, 32 Xe cores, 8/16 GB GDDR6 memory are included in this card. Again on paper, it is stated to be close to the Radeon RX 6900XT.
Although the features on paper show similarities with their competitors, in fact, these do not make much sense in real world conditions. Already, Intel uses the RTX 3060 card as a benchmark in Arc A750 tests. Although the A750 is slightly ahead in these tests by Intel, more unbiased test scenarios and price information are important for a healthy comparison.
