Intel, which has recently released its 13th Generation Raptor Lake architecture processors, has started to slowly cut its support for older generation architectures. In this context, the chip giant, which announced that certain 11th Generation Rocket Lake processors will be removed from production in the past months, is preparing to unplug more models.

Intel end the way for 11th Gen ‘Tiger Lake’ processors

For those who don’t know, last April, Intel launched the EOL (end of life) process for desktop 11th Gen Core “Rocket Lake” and Tiger Lake-H series CPUs. However, among the first processors included in the list were five mobile 11th Gen Core-H and four 11th Gen Core-B desktop models, including the Core i7-11800H, one of the most popular gaming laptop CPUs.

When we look at the recently updated list, we see that more than 40 processors used in Mini PCs or motherboards with embedded CPUs have been added. In addition, Intel will stop production of the RM590E, HM570E and QM580E chipsets for these processors.

In light of this information, we can say that the Tiger Lake series will join the Rocket Lake desktop CPUs that have been discontinued in the past months. This marks the ultimate end of the 11th Gen Intel Core family. As a matter of fact, let us state that other models will be included in the list in the future.
