It also draws the attention of Israeli technology giants, which include important initiatives in chip architectures and related software. Intel, which acquired the Tower Semiconductor initiative in the past months, is now making an acquisition in cloud optimizations.
Cloud infrastructure attack from Intel
According to the statement, Israel’s Granulate Cloud Solutions Ltd, the developer of software that provides real-time and continuous optimization in cloud infrastructures and data centers, has been acquired by Intel.
Intel stock coolers continue to have noise issue
Granulate startup’s autonomous optimization software provides a more efficient environment by learning the customer’s applications. Granulate, which seems to appeal to slightly smaller customer clusters, minimizes latency and improves performance. Thus, it also reduces costs.
Granulate startup was actually one of the first graduates of Intel’s Ignite program. In the past years, they had worked together on optimizing the workload on Xeon systems. Intel acquired the initiative without further delay. It was announced that the 120 employees of the venture would be transferred to the Intel Data Center division, but no information was given about the acquisition.
