As you know, Intel will announce the highly anticipated Raptor Lake Refresh and Meteor Lake processors in the coming weeks. However, the chip giant has already started preparations for Arrow Lake and Lunar architectures. Today, a new processor from Lunar Lake appeared in the Sisoftware Sandra database.

Tests for Intel Lunar Lake processors have started

For those who don’t know, Intel has previously confirmed that Lunar Lake will not be a high-end gaming architecture. Instead, new processors designed for low-power devices will probably be released soon with Arrow Lake. Let us remind you that at this stage, Arrow Lake will replace the Meteor Lake and Raptor Lake series.

As for the shared leak, we see that a processor called “Intel 0000” belonging to the Lunar Lake architecture (LNL-M LPP RVP1) is being tested. However, we should point out that the information may not be completely accurate since the new platform does not support it yet.

The shared screenshot confirms some information about the processor. Accordingly, the new processor has 20 cores, a clock speed of up to 3.91 GHz and a 17W power design, in addition to LPDDR5 memory support. However, it is unclear in what configuration the cores will be offered. If we make a reasonable assumption, it’s likely to contain 6 P-Cores and 8 E-Cores. However, the 10MB+4MB L2 cache distribution shows that it is 4+4. Therefore, it would be correct to say that we are looking at a low-power processor.

At the Innovation event held last week, Intel confirmed that Lunar Lake is currently in the testing phase. While the company hasn’t given an exact release date, we expect more information to emerge in the second half of 2024. The potential release date of the processors is likely to be in 2025.
