Intel, which has been busy recently offering its Alder Lake-based processors to mobile and desktop platforms, does not forget the auxiliary categories. 6 new Atom processors have been introduced for some more media players.
New C-series Atom processors
The new C-series 10nm Atom processors announced by Intel target content platform or edge server style devices. While there are 6 processors in total, a core scaling is included, contrary to the naming.
How is Intel Core i9-13900K performance?
Atom C5125 is the flagship in the series. 8 cores and 8 thread units can go up to 2.8GHz. The Atom C5320 processor goes up to 2.40GHz. Atom C5325 again has similar features. The 3 processors have 4 cores and 4 threads. It has TDP values ranging from 32W-50W depending on the hardware. The cache is 9MB.
PCIe Gen 3 supported processors have a maximum of 12-32 lanes. It supports dual-channel DDR4 memory up to 256GB, while Intel QAT Gen2 technology, which can automatically decode and compress up to 20Gb, comes integrated.
