Intel introduced the Core i3-N305 processor, the fruit of the 12th generation Alder Lake-N series. This processor, which consists of all small cores, provides a huge performance increase on both the CPU and GPU side when compared to its predecessors. Here are the Intel Core i3-N305 features…

Intel Core i3-N305 specifications

Although the Intel Core i3-N305 seems to be an ideal processor for home and business computers in terms of its features, it manages to exceed expectations in terms of performance. Although the base clock speed of this 8-core chip is 1.8 GHz, it maintains its stable performance up to 3.7 GHz.

This processor, which will be the first choice of many people and companies due to its affordable price, shows 42 percent higher results in CPU when compared to its predecessors, the N200. When we look at the GPU side, we see that this difference goes up to 56 percent.

When we compare it with the Pentium Silver N6000, there is a huge difference. On the CPU side, we see a 53 percent improvement. Similarly, this gap widens in the GPU and rises to 91 percent.

The processor also offers IPU and MIPI camera support, which many people and companies seek after the pandemic, Wi-Fi 6E internet connection that is almost 3 times faster than Wi-Fi 5, and GNA 3.0 background noise cancellation features.

Of course, we will also see some customizations. For example, Intel states that this chip, which is produced with 7nm architecture, offers 4 to 8 efficiency cores per watt for performance seekers. In this way, you can consume less power while maintaining your current performance.

Other supports offered are as follows; DDR4-DDR5 RAM, LPDDR5-4800, HDMI 2.0b, DP 1.4, TCSS-USB3/DP 1.4, eDP 1.4b-MIPI DSI 1.3, 8x USB2/4x USB3, PCIe Gen3x9, SATA 3.0×2, Wi-Fi 6E- Gigabit+, eMMC/UFS and more…

We will see this processor in computers using many ChromeOS and Windows operating systems such as Microsoft, Chromebook, Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Asus in the coming period.
