Intel Arrow Lake Refresh processors confirmed

According to the information shared in Weibo, Arrow Lake Refresh is planned for both desktop (S-Series) and laptop (HX-Series). This confirms that the current silicone will remain the same. Likewise, previous rumors argued that the renewal would focus on an update for the internal NPU unit, rather than an increase in the number of cores.

Currently, Intel has not made a clear statement about whether the platform would support other generation processors in the future. However, instead of a completely new generation, Arrow Lake Refresh will be a changes in the AI chips and a renewal that possibly with higher clock speeds. At least this platform will continue to be supported for at least one more year.

On the other hand, Arrow Lake Refresh will be presented with the Panther Lake and Wildcat Lake laptop series. If ARL-R continues to use the same GPU architecture, there will be a two-generation difference between Panther Lake on the graphic side. Because we know that Arrow Lake uses Alchemist -based GPUs, and Panther Lake is expected to come with Celestial GPU.

In summary, it was confirmed that Intel will invest in this platform for at least one year with Arrow Lake Refresh. However, it is a matter of curiosity how much renewal will make.
