As you know, Intel managed to collect positive comments from users with both the pricing and driver support it offers on Arc graphics cards. However, we mentioned to you that the mid-level Arc A580 model, introduced last year, is still not on sale. Today, Intel Arc A580 was tested before its release.

Intel Arc A580 tested ahead of launch

For those who don’t know, Arc A580 was introduced with the ACM-G10 GPU paired with 8 Ray Tracing units, 384 processing units, 186 GB/s memory bandwidth, 2.0 GHz clock speed, 175W TDP, 24 Xe-Core and 8GB GDDR6 memory. However, in the newly leaked images, we see that the card reaches higher speeds such as 2.4 GHz.

As for performance tests, Arc A580 scores 88,019 points in the OpenCL test. Let’s note that when we make a small comparison, this indicates a performance that is almost at the same level as the RTX 3060 and 6 percent higher than the RX7600. It seems that Intel has started to get results from its driver-specific work.

As you know, Intel Arc A series is offered to users at a competitive price against Nvidia and AMD. So much so that the price of the A750, which was introduced with a price tag of 289 dollars, has already dropped to around 200 dollars. Let us remind you that the Arc A580 was introduced at a price of $ 249. Therefore, it may become the most affordable model in the range of $ 179-199.
