Planning to be a new player in the graphics card market, Intel will launch Arc series graphics cards from this year. The Arc A580, the entry-level desktop card of the series, between the A380 and A750, has started to appear in benchmark tests.

Achieves similar results as RTX 3060

Recently shared leaks indicate that the Arc A580 will be powered by the 6nm DG2-512 chip. However, the new graphics card, which will host 16 Xe cores, 128-bit memory bus and 8GB GDDR6 memory, will appear as a competitor to Nvidia RTX 3060, according to Intel’s claims.

Tested on the Vulkan API with a 16-core processor on the Ashes of Singularity benchmark website, the Arc A580 scores 9300 points and averages 95 FPS at minimum 1080p settings. Although it is difficult to compare the results as there are not many cards tested with the Vulkan API, we can say that the Nvidia RTX 3060 hits between 75 and 96 FPS with the same preset.
