Although it has not been around for a while, the twelfth generation Intel Core HX processor series, which has started to show itself in new performance-oriented laptop models of some brands, has finally been introduced.
Twelfth generation Intel Core HX processors
The company, which put an end to the performance-oriented processor series we know as Intel Core X, decided to integrate them a little more mobile with new architectures. Intel Alder Lake HX was the first example of this.
Intel Core i9-12950HX and Intel Core i9-12900HX were leaked before. These flagship-level processors contain 8 performance and 8 efficiency cores. The processors, which are quite muscular, have 32 cluster Intel Xe graphics units running at 1.55GHz. The base energy consumption is 55W. Differently, the Intel Core i9-12950HX processor includes Intel vPro support and ECC, or error correction code.
Plan change on Intel Meteor Lake processors
To offer desktop performance Intel Core i7-12850HX and Intel Core i7-12800HX processors come with the same core array. Clock frequencies and graphics performance are slightly reduced, while Level 3 cache is also slightly throttled. Here, too, we see vPro and ECC support. The remaining 3 processors focus on slightly more cost, with lower core scaling and frequencies.
PCI-Express 5.0 x16 PEG connection is reserved for graphics cards up to 128GB capacity DDR5/LPDDR5 (4800MHz/5200MHz) and DDR4 (3200MHz/ LPDDR4 4267 MHz) is supported. 4×4 PCIe Gen 4.0 is available from a dedicated platform control center (PCH).
Already 10 different workstations and players for Alder Lake HX processors with features such as two M.2 NVMe Gen 4 slots, 1 Gen 4 slot from 1 processor, up to two Thunderbolt 4 controllers, ECC error correction support. laptop is ready.
