Intel Arc Graphics has added several new professional graphics cards to its lineup with the combination of Intel Arc Pro A60 and Pro A60M for workstations. Both the Arc Pro A60 and A60M are aimed at affordable professional workstations. In this sense, the prices of the cards are expected to be reasonable.

Arc Pro A60 and A60M features

Both Arc Pro A60 and A60M increase PCIe lanes usage to 16 compared to other Arc Graphics products and support up to 12GB VRAM with 384GB/s memory bandwidth. In this sense, it seems like a step forward compared to the current Arc series. These are not only the fastest Arc workstation solutions from Intel, but the Arc Pro A60 is a slim single-slot solution.
In terms of specs, the Arc Pro A60 packs 16 Xe Cores, 256 EU, 16 RT units, 256 matrix engines, and 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus. The mobile-focused Pro A60M, on the other hand, reduces its memory capacity to 8GB on a 128-bit bus.

Compared to consumer-based Arc graphics cards, these new workstation models augment custom AI Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX) engines and even hardware ray tracing units. Additionally, these cards, like their desktop counterparts, support full AV1 encoding, high dynamic range (HDR) and Dolby Vision output support.

Arc Pro A60 and A60M release date

According to Intel, these new GPUs are ideal for computer-aided design and modeling (CAD/CAM), artificial intelligence inference tasks, and media processing in specialized business environments. Intel also emphasizes compatibility with certain applications from Autodesk, such as 3ds Max, AutoCAD, and Maya. Among the newly announced cards, the Arc Pro A60 will be available first in the coming weeks, while the Pro A60M will be released in the coming months. No pricing information has been shared, but considering the Arc series, there’s no doubt that these will be affordable and budget-friendly workstation GPUs.
