Preparing to release 13th Gen Raptor Lake desktop processors in the second quarter of 2022, Intel has shared new information for the mobile versions of the architecture.
To be released by the end of the year
Stating that Alder Lake processor shipments exceeded 35 million in their second quarter earnings announcements, Intel CEO Pat Gensinger said, “We expect to build on this momentum with the launch of Raptor Lake, which starts with our desktop SKUs this fall and then our mobile family by the end of the year.” ‘ he stated.
Intel changes driver support for 6th and 10th generation processors
As it is known, the 12th Generation Alder Lake desktop processors were released in October 2021, and the mobile versions were released last February after a long delay. On the other hand, while the Raptor Lake desktop processors are expected to be announced on September 28, it seems that the next generation mobile versions will be released earlier than expected.
