AMD, which recently introduced the flagship RX 7900XT and XTX models with RDNA 3 architecture, will soon launch the mobile solutions of the architecture. In this context, new scores continue to come from the company’s most powerful integrated mobile GPU, the AMD Radeon 780M. What does the graphics unit that is expected to power both laptop and handheld consoles offer? Let’s see together.

For those who don’t know, the integrated Radeon 780M will offer 12 Compute Units, similar to the last generation Rembrandt Zen3+ processors. In addition, the top model HS processors will come up with clock speeds of 2.7 GHz and 2.8 GHz.

According to the shared screenshot, the Radeon 780M accompanying the Ryzen 7 7840HS model scores around 2.590 on the 3DMark platform. We can say that the score in question is above the 2,486 score that appeared with the Ryzen 9 7940HS model last month. As a matter of fact, the 780M used in the Ryzen 7 7840HS appeared with higher clock speeds.

It seems that AMD has managed to improve the performance of the new graphics unit by 4 percent. In addition, the new integrated GPU, which surpasses the desktop GTX 1050, seems to be positioned between the RTX 2050 and RTX 2060.

Next generation integrated graphics solutions with RDNA 3 architecture, including Radeon 780M, will ship with Ryzen 7040 “Phoenix” APUs with 35-45 Watt TDP. The new processors, which will be released next March, are expected to protect Radeon-exclusive technologies such as ray tracing, FSR and RSR.
