Instagram’s ‘pin to profile’ feature is now generally available

Instagram started testing the ability to pin posts to a profile last April. This feature is now generally available, allowing users to pin their favorite posts at the top of their profile grid.

The popular social media platform now allows you to pin up to three posts or Reels at the top of your profile. To do this, simply tap on the three dots in the upper right corner of the relevant post and select the “pin to your profile” option.

First discovered in January

The pin to profile was first revealed in January by reverse engineering expert Allesandro Paluzzi. The feature that Instagram has made public will allow users to highlight posts they want others to see.
