Apart from that, the company brought the ’60-second stories’ feature to our country in the past weeks and started testing it on some users. Now it has been stated that a new feature can be added to the platform. According to the news, Instagram has started testing a new feature that allows stories to be liked by some users.

‘Story Likes’

According to Tech Crunch’s report, Instagram, which is affiliated with Meta (formerly Facebook), has started testing the ‘like story’ feature in limited users worldwide. In the statements made, it is possible to like the stories with the new feature; While it was stated that these likes can only be seen by the user who shared the story, it was stated that it is not planned to make the number of likes open to everyone. The following statements were included in the statements made by Meta:

“We continue to work on new features to help people connect more with the people they care about. We also started testing one of these, ‘Story Likes’. This feature; It will allow stories to be liked and these likes to be seen only by the person who shared the post.”

As it is known, it is currently possible to react to Instagram stories using different emojis. In this feature, similar to the new feature, the reactions can only be viewed by the person who shared the post. The company, which previously opened its feature called ‘Your’ to increase interactions, now aims to increase the interaction of users with its ‘Story Likes’ feature. There is currently no information about when the feature will be available to all users.
