For some time now, Instagram has been letting you pin your favorite Stories to the top of your profile as a way to save them even if they’re expiring. And the company may soon let you do the same for your posts. As noted by
TechCrunch, Instagram recently started testing a feature that allows users to highlight certain posts above their photo grid. Users taking the test can select the new “pin to profile” option by tapping the three-dot icon at the top of a post. “We are testing a new feature that allows people to include posts on their profiles,” Instagram
said in a statement.
Evidence that the company was considering adding a way to boost regular posts was first noticed by Alessandro Paluzzi in January. A handful of other social media platforms, including Twitter and TikTok, allow you to highlight posts in pretty much the same way.
